Lol. Today was fun. After school that is :D

Well today we had English CCT. It was relatively okay. At least I think so for NOW. I didn't know arbitary... yes that's what you get when you try to remember too many scrabble words. All the meanings mix up. D: Sigh. And I guess other than that I did okay. >< I'm praying for a 4.0!

Which is the exact sad opposite of my chinese - with a CA score of 58.9/100. Around the middle of the class, but then again, my class is one of the worst classes (Academically. I have learnt that my class can be great in many ways as well :D) and yes I still suck. Sigh. It kinda means I have to full mark EOYs for a 3.6. WHEE!!! That's so easy to get I bet I could get it! NOT.

I'm wondering what condition my brain is in now. It feels like it's rotting and stagnating. D:

We lost IHDB round 2, by 1.5 pts. It turns out we could have won, but then I had to screw up against a POI. We definitely won in our arguments, but we were unable to express them proficiently enough for our case to win. Sigh. We lost fair and square. So many things, yet so little done.

Greek seems fun to learn, but I will not learn it now. Studies still are priority.

Anyway I just realized how few real friends I really have. Everyone judges by face value, how someone can be manipulated/used to do something. I count slightly above 5. Sadly, I am inclined to believe that the numbers are really lower than that, just that I am still deluding myself.

But who cares! I musn't be distracted. CCT TMR AHHH!!

It's been 4 months since then, and I wonder what are you doing now.

Anyway, today has been much of a disaster. And I meant for chem. I didn't expect time to be my greatest enemy. But I should have expected it. That's a costly 6+ marks for underestimation. Which kinda means my chem GPA is almost forever stuck at 3.6, unless for EOY I get full marks or close to it. Therefore I must buck up.

Interhouse photog competition - I think I'll spam entries. Sounds so fun. Although intense?! Wth. Lol. Oh well. And IHDB impromptu round! I think I'm more confident of this, since we have 2 sec 2 debaters and one sec 4 smart guy and me who pulls down the team but can offer good points. D: Oh well it just means another time of ponning hockey. I can officially say my CCA is screwed. How did Nigel Fong survive not going to squash for an entire year 0_o

And I'm slacking my days away! Completely can't study. Which sucks. But oh well I'm forcing myself to do maths now. So that I can sleep early xD

Today was a screwed up day.

Bah.

Firstly, today I forgot to bring my wallet today, which has many severe repercussions. Oh well.

Secondly, I screwed up my chinese test. Four marks gone already, doubtless more to come. Sigh.

Thirdly, we lost the first round of IHDB by one point. Even though we stated our substantives better, we defended our points, they did not have clear substantives, they did not clear doubts, and most importantly they did not have a policy and their reply speaker spoke a rebuttal speech which is blasphemy. But they won. I feel very justified. Not.

Oh well. Everything comes in perspective.

I guess I should be glad that I'm not in the hospital now because I crossed the road 6 times today.

Lol. Today was interesting.

Went to school at 10.30 for debates. Ah well. Ashish only turned up at 11.30. Well done. So in the mean time, I looked at sec 4 work and found them okay. Just okay. Since it was physics and maths (They were doing geometry!). Yep. Then after he came we did rebuttals and all the random stuff. Before trying to come up with substantives. Lol. I wasted so much time. I can't believe I spent the entire wednesday night trying to think of a good substantive when today I just spent 5 minutes alone thinking and came up with 3, which one of them Ashish said was excellent. I think my brain is erratic. Oh wells.

Then went to lunch with the (IMBA) Tjeng! Lol. He quite funny. He says that I shouldn't describe people as imba because that would mean people are good at only one thing. So I should call people "ba". What the hell. xD you mean like, BArry? Then we went to the library for 2 hours.

Dramafeste... well originally I didn't intend to go but I saw WZY so I decided to go as well. Then yeah no offence Zac, but I think Buckley's was actually the least realistic. Although Shien did a wonderful performance. There were many ideas that clashed and the juxtaposition of ethics were completely awkward, but yes I still think you guys deserve thumbs up for your efforts.

Well, I think Hullett did a very fine job, just that they could have spared the theatrics. They also should have outlined their points clearer, like how 1 + 1 + 1 = 0. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it means: 3 in physical form, yet 0 in society. If so, I don't see the necessity of the stories! But oh well. If anything I would certainly like a clarification.

Yep. I guess I shall ignore the pain for now and focus on things that really matter. After all, life goes on, despite how pathetic it can be most of the time.

Life is painful.

Okay today was a very busy day. Nothing much actually to talk about though. At least, that's what I feel.

Splitting headache since after recess. Sigh. All the way until now, 10.50 pm.

Taught ESP today. With Kewei on special and general relativity. Quite interesting, but to derive the lorentz factor just sucks. Lol. Then Huiyao and Barry and Aaron crashed in. Like wth. Then I got everybody to bow to them xD yay. Oh well.

Then went for CCA, nothing much, just that I'm improving pretty fast. Other than that, nothing.

Dramafeste. Now, I can't say I liked it. With my headache I didn't really appreciate the corny humor that somehow didn't even amuse me in the bit. Although there were a few times when there were conflicting concepts and I laughed. A bit. Oh well. That's 6 bucks for entertainment.

I played the piano at RJC after dramafeste for half an hour. To forget everything that's painful.

After all, it hurts when friends are no longer friends. What does trust mean to everyone? I'm slowly fading back to where I once was.

I guess it's just because I'm me.

Today had Chem Prac!

I SCREWED UP THE LAST QUESTION.

I was extra. Lol. Instead of finding the relative mass of H2Y I went to find the mass of Y, so I minused 2.0 off my answer. Omg I suck. D:

Then physics test I got 9/10, thankfully. Because it wasn't a practical.

Yeah. Then today was plain routine. RE was hilarious though. I was using Aaron's tennis racket (When Mr Law was not around)and using some huge paper ball to serve at Jon Chow while he threw at me. So we see who could hit each other. Aaron's tennis racket was imba. I could serve so much harder xD I think it would have seriously injured Chow if he did not hide behind a table. Yeps. There was a small chip on the table 0_o ahhh ):

Anyway. RE was also screwed up coz Mr Law was like doing free fire on our projects. Then our group got owned because I was the only one answering all the questions. Then the questions we could not answer were the ones Minjian did for data, which he obviously has no clue. Jon Chow and I wanted to smack Minjian right there and then. Lol. But oh well. At least I know my stuff. xD

Lol. Today was quite sad lah.

Morning we had racial harmony celebrations. Davin sang. xD but it was mainly Ye Oon singing lah. Oh well. Was okay, except Kok Peng shouldn't have been the emcee. It made people laugh. Well.

Then we had math. Oh well. I passed maths. 15/30. I'm totally mortified. Ah well. I know I suck, but barely passing is like, ><. Getting half the score of Chew. Argh. My goodness. My maths is like gone case already. Sigh.

Then Chinese yingyongwen I got 10.5/20. Which also just happens to be barely passing. D: Sigh.

I guess the only good thing today was english, where I got 19/20 for my english blog xD lol? And 15/20 for my SAP presentation. ><

Oh wells. But still. I could do better for the rest of my subjects.

Today plain sucked.

Well, I lost all my games today except for one, which was a draw. So shan't really talk much about today.

Feeling sad now. My rating dropped from 1670 to 1640. Sigh.

And to make matters worse, the game I drew was because of a phony which was left unchallenged. Or I would have lost. I played very badly.

Sigh. Life sucks.

On a brighter note, Adil won C div and WZY got 2nd. Lol. Wzy damn pissed. Adil winning came as a surprise though. Wzy can beat me frequently but what, lose one game in C div? Sheesh. WZY must work harder! I mean, even though your opponent may have gotten JQXZK 2 blanks and 4 S you still can win one. It's C div hello. I still managed to salvage a score of high 350's even though it sucked. Yeah. So Wzy I have faith in you... it's your first competition anyway! Haha.

Speaking about first competition, I just realized that Adil is the only person in the entire SA that has 100% games won so far! xD

Yeah and thanks to both of them RI won the team champion. xD Salvaged my negative spread of -780 with a +1218 from adil and +700+ from wzy. xD I feel that even though I got to take the trophy home coz I'm "team captain" I feel like I'm tainting the trophy. Sigh. With my un-imbaness. T_T

Oh well. Once again, life sucks. Doesn't hurt to wish for a bit more luck.

Ah. First day of Nats ends with mixed feelings.

4/8 games won. Position = 14/24.

Technically speaking, I only won 3/7 games. 4th game was a bye. (A bye is a non-existent player used to fill up the space when there are an odd number of players competing)

Ah well. Let's go through the games.

First game against Victor Chua, lost terribly, placed me as last position. I lost by what, 205 points? Pure screw up. Argh. Couldn't play a single bingo. Board was cramped up... And well he played a simple BASINET for 84 points and INDITES for 79 points. Ah well. Sobs. Lost 281 - 486.

Then played against Michael Tang - I had the luck for this game, getting both blanks, playing GRaVEST for 82 points and TANGIER for 86 points. He played INTARSIA for 77 points. Won 440 - 328.

Next was Blias! Omg. I lost. I'm not sure whether I was unlucky or not but I realized I played very riskily. I opened with JOINS for 40 points - which may have been used to form CONJOINS. Fortunately he didn't have it. Ah well. He koped both blanks, played BOILERS for 71 and TUMBLER for 76 while I played LAGGIEST for 83 points. Lost 362 - 462.

Had the bye next. Since it was the game before lunch, I thought I'd go toa payoh central for lunch. Then I walked all the way there, ordered my food and realized I forgot to bring my wallet. Then I stopped the order and had to walk all the way back. By the way it's ten minutes there and ten minutes back, even by fast walking. Ugh. I'm so dumb. D:

Played against Ricky Purnomo after lunch. Before the game, Liwei told me I was going to lose. Because he's a GM (grand master). Obviously I was like, scared. D: I started the game with TWEED for 22 points, he followed with NEAP for 12 points. Then I played the first bingo, BRINIEST for 80 points. Then I was getting confident, but he used the first blank and played MIr[R]ORED for 86 points. I extended TWEED to TWEEDIER for 36 points, and he tried to phony me with PRACTENE*, which I was pretty intimidated by until I challenged it. Haha. xD Then he played CATNAPER somewhere else. Oh well. Lost by a little. 399 - 426.

Oh, and guess who entered the scene during my game with Ricky! OMG SUANne. Lol. I was wondering why she was in SG when Cheah told me she's from Penang, but she lives in SG because she has a scholarship for MGS. D: My first impression of her was like, huh. Short! I mean, she looks damn tall in the picture but... lol. Maybe it's because i think too HIGHLY of her. Ahahaha. xD Oh well why are all the short people imba. Stacey Chooey Suanne blahblahblahblah. Small but emanate big aura. D:

Okay. Back to the games. Played against Tony next. My worst game ever I guess. I didn't even know what happened to me. I screwed up by playing CLOAKIER* and was challenged off. And Tony had a 200 pt lead by then, while I was stuck at 0. Really. Z-E-R-O. Tony played ANtERIOR and FREESIAS for 74 points each. And I saw DEERHORN but didn't play it because I thought it was a phony. Well done. Lost 280 - 456.

Game 7: Yen Nee. I lost to her once, and was prepared to lose again. But I won. Lol. She played PROBA[T]ES for 63 points and SURLIER for 74 points. Ironically after she played SURLIER she exposed the R to the triple triple, and my rack was AGINRT?. Which I suppose most of you guys can see the bingoes available. I played ANGRIEST, 9 timer for 131 points. Lol highest word for the tournament so far. xD then extended PROBATES to REPROBATES for 47 points. (She challenged). Finished the game with STATElY for 67 points. Win 519 - 391.

Game 8: Gan Cher Siong. Won mainly because of luck. I got 2 blanks, JQXZK (Q was a liability though. Endgame). Played HEaLING for 74 points, GRoUNDER for 72 points. He played S[C]ENARIO from a rack of ERASION, through the C. Which was quite nice. I tried to phony STRIPIE* but apparently it's not valid. TIPSIER and PITIERS only. Had a tough endgame with the Q, but managed to secure the win with SLIMY for 29 points. Win 419 - 399.

That brings an end to day 1. Sigh. Tmr will be a better day.

Anyway, an interesting quote from Liwei when we were talking on JC life (with Blias and GC):

Lol. NSC today:

RI and RG qualified to semis, beating commonwealth and NY who did not. RI finished as top qualifier.

Okay basic summary: The questions were pretty easy lah. All apart from the maths. I could answer all except the maths... T_T (note: for the buzzer round only!) Then for the first round, I thought that the physics was the easiest and bio was second, although they said bio was hardest. Oh wells. Questions for bio? Name the first period in which the dinosaurs existed. This one was easy - general knowledge. Ans: Triassic. Next question: Kangaroos belong to a group of animals called the? Ans: Marsupial. (Also general knowledge!) Last one I didn't know coz I'm stupid. Which part of the brain controls the nervous system is called or sth. Ans: Somatic. I dunno this one. Sigh.

Oh well. Chem was okay. Actually I think NY should have won. If they didn't screw up their puzzle round. Actually in fact all the questions were answerable, just that everyone was nervous. Haha. Well done to commonwealth and NY, and congrats to RG and RI! xD

Ah well. Today was a weird day.

In the morning had a maths "training" with my dad. Sian. Partial fractions. Lol. For two hours straight. Then went for the SWAP programme underwater world thing for RE.

Okay. The main problem was how I got to sentosa.

First, I did not know the time we had to get there. I called Minjian, our grp leader, and he never pick up. Until 11.15, Bryson picked up and told me it was at 1. Zzz. Then I had to chiong my stuff. I alighted at vivo at 12.55. Then my phone buzzed. I looked at it. Minjian sent me an sms - "It is at 1. Sorry for the late reply." -_-" I wanted to reply, too late or sth like that. Lols.

Then, to sentosa. I had to call Mr Law to ask him how to get from vivo to sentosa (coz I forgot, sorry lah). Then he told me by the monorail. I went to the monorail and realized that the queue was like, super long, my estimate 45 mins to get ONE ticket. Then, realizing I was pretty screwed since it was 1.05 already, I went to the information counter to try to ask how else I could get there. The information counter was ALSO packed. By a bunch of tourists. Sigh. I called Mr Law again, then he said there's a bus. But he did not know where also. Eventually I had to call Nicolette to ask her where it was (she lives near vivo, so rightfully she SHOULD know). Yeah. Thanks a mil anyway.

While taking the bus, I noticed the new monorail's station was called "imbiah station". Imbah. xD

Yep. Eventually I reached there at what, 1.35? D: sobsobs. Then we were supposed to sell some stuff for fund raising for RE, something like community day. Lol. So I went to sell, and apparently I got slightly above ten bucks only. Such a failure right. D: I mean I earned even less than RI community day xD 50 bucks LOLOLOL. Yeah. But apparently the people who bought are always european foreigners. Then I chatted with some young foreign lady and she was like saying it was good to see people doing charity work in Singapore and all that. Yeah. ><

I'm very tired of my life now.

You know, it always comes back.

I keep hearing of achievements by others even though they think of it as nothing, and in fact feel like it's nothing. It's damn agonizing. It makes me wonder why I even try so hard, or try at all in the first place when I can't even get a fraction to where people are now.

Well, brief summary of today. I completely forgot it was mufti day. D: So I wore normal school uniform, ignoring the once-in-a-year chance of wearing home clothes. Sianz.

First period was chinese - I recieved my holiday assignment back, and I got a measly 27/50. When I see people like kenneth lim and Joel getting higher marks than me, I think, why did I ever bother to spend 3 days on this, searching through the information and all that crap? The teacher even wrote a comment saying I was not serious in my work. I totally deserve that. Yeah.

Second period was maths, was okay apart from me falling asleep right in front of the teacher. And he scolded me. Thanks a lot. Next time make your class more interesting.

Third period was the physics quiz. Sigh. It was relatively okay except for the part where I had a calculation error for the time when it reaches half displacement. I missed it by 0.2s. Damn. I don't know how I got there too. Lols.

Recess as usual.

English was quite okay. Afterall, the presentations were really nice today. Interesting at least. Yep. Somehow English is fantastically interesting this term. Debates (:

History was boring even though it was video session. Even Eric Koh said it was - so he didn't really mind when I fell asleep. Davin had to wake me up -_-" but I looked around and spotted more than 7 people heads on table, including ultramugger kenneth kuan. Lols. Which kinda ended the day.

Went to see RLP list - Mattie is the only one that got in for science club, which means he's almost confirmed next year's SC chair. I'm happy that it's him but then again it's really sad to hear another achievement by someone I know and looking at myself at the same time.

Somehow it seems like everyone I know is perfect in some way or another. It's demoralizing, degrading and humbling. It goes to show how effort can never overcome talent. But I'm not saying that they don't put in effort - of course they do, but the difference in talent makes the greater obstacle than the effort to put in.

I don't have the mental strength to type anymore. Damn. Anymore and I'll slam my face on the screen. Masochistic tendencies, yeah.

Ahh. Today was a up and downish day.

First lesson of the day - Chem. Had the new teacher, who was quite okay. Hmm. Yeah felt motivated enough to the worksheets xD.

2nd lesson was... uhm. Philo. Lol. I failed my philo test... 9/20. The one I didn't study for. Sigh. It's like my philo test results are a steep gradient downwards - from some imba 4.0 to 3.2 to 1.6. Wth. Sigh. Must not fail philo! Rawr. But philo is pretty boring in my class - with the teacher and the uninterested and students who refuse to cooperate. Sigh.

3rd lesson OMG BIO YUCKS. We did dissection! OMG. EWW. Then Jlim took out a SHEEP LUNG omg. Then left it out there to DEFROST. >< and then we had to dissect fish gills. I was seriously grossed out. Lol. Apparently Kenji went around the class and said mine was the cleanest and best looking dissection. Guess why. I only dissected two gills, and if any blood let it drip inside the fish, so there wasn't any blood on my setup. I was about to puke when I saw OMG IMBA Davin cutting up the entire fish and removing its intestines and all that. YUCK. Come to think about it, I haven't gutted a fish or handled meat before. D: Eww.

Okay. Needless to say, I had a hard time eating recess.

Chinese - lol. Something funny. When we were asked to describe who we thought was the worst among these people: LKY, William Hung (is that how you spell it?), Jay Chou, Spiderman and Gollum (Some LOTR creature I don't know), Bryan said it was spiderman. Niuyi ask why, he said:

Ah well. Then during assembly had a talk on RJ courses. Wth. I'm sure to take 2 H3 courses you need a GPA of 3.8. Insane lah. I think I'm going to take Econs H3. Sounds fun :D and [Chem Bio Maths] H2. Bah. That fills up 12 units nicely. I should be able to get above 3.2... probably by 0.1 or so. Sigh. Econs Chem Bio Maths. Bleh. I bet People like Ziyang will take Phy H3 and Mattie will take Bio and Chem H3. Since he has an average GPA of 4.4. D:

Lol. Okay after school I played scrabble with Chew. Ended up in my highest loss ever: 477 - 444. Chew is teh imbazzz. Haha. It was quite a nice game. Total of 4 bingoes on the board, but utilization of JQXZ probably gave Chew the win. My average score per word was 31.71 while Chew's was 31.8. Woah. Chew is getting damn pro. Mattie buck up!! xD

Righto. Shall go prepare for physics test tmr. Sigh. I hope I full mark this one to cover up for my practicals. And speaking of practicals, I think I'll fail my chem prac on titration to come. Sigh.

Life sucks. Practical - wise.

Haha okay today was better than yesterday.

Morning went for hockey match against ACSI. I played. Nonetheless it means I screwed up - First match in a year without any proper training before hand, as well as PT. I completely have no idea how to use a hockey stick properly now. Kept missing the ball. Despite having quite a number of good passes from aravind on my weak side, I couldn't stop the balls, even if they weren't bouncing. Sigh. I definitely would have been able to stop the ground balls a year ago, now I'm struggling to do it. Apart from that, made a few good passes. That's all. And gratz to Roys who imbah-ly scored 2 goals. Top scorer xD And of course, Ish who had his first goal of his career scored. Lols.

Okay. I was pretty happy with the fact that I got to play. At least I know more or less where my standards are with my current fitness and all that. Pretty low. I should stop playing tennis and squash for now before I completely screw up my hockey sense.

The rest of the day... well went to Hongen's/ Miin's church for some talk, then had dinner together with both of them. Lols. Was quite fun. Haha. Then we chatted and idled around and scrabbled until people around us were like wth what's that word supposed to mean and I and hongen shrug it off. xD Sheesh. But yay, at least it was fun! :D

Yeps. Tomorrow is youth day. I'm going to spend it youthfully... sleep the entire day. xD (What, that's youth. You always idle your youth away and when you wake up it's gone. Right?)

Absolutely boring and bad day today.

Sigh. Lost to wzy so many games of scrabble. I'm totally noob. I missed out ERASION and ANISOLE when they are stems. Sigh. Why am i so pathetic now...

Okay the rest of my day was boring.

Watched Hancock though. Was quite a funny movie. But I think the storyline is abit weird. There's not a very good introduction, although there were nice persiflages and stuff. Yeah. It was overall a good movie, but the ending and the opening does not compliment well.

Yeps okay. Hopefully tmr better day. Bye!

Now that I finally have some time, I shall post.

Yesterday: Math test was a killer. Complete killer. I think I lost 10 marks already. Upon 30. Sigh. D: conceptual errors mainly. And I know the imba people who frequent my blog will suan me with their imba maths achievements. Rawr. T_T

Then, scrabble. Austin Tan told me about some youth olympic scrabble games in 2010, which I'm just nice at the age limit. Although I don't believe it. Lol youth olympic scrabble games. What, win a gold medal? >< (But hey, OMG SUANne isn't there :D). Nvm. I shall certify it's existence before I do anything.

Then I played with one of the RI champ team of sec 4s. Zzz they were damn proud they got first. Wth. Then I played him and won... although my score wasn't satisfactory. 395 only. With bingoes such as CASEMEN and RESTORING (NINE LETTER WORD WOOTZ :D) Haha. The rack was GINRRT?, and there was an open S and O, a spacing between both of them. Liwei says lexpert says the only bingo is RESTORING, so good. Heheh :D

Then against WZY 399 - 389 win. Aiyah. I think 400 now keeps avoiding me. D:

Yep. And yesterday night my cousin came back from germany. Came to give me chocolates. I was pretty surprised. Surprised to see how much she had changed. She got married a few weeks ago. Somehow I feel she's prettier (despite being very pretty already! D:), more mature and much more radiant after marriage. No, I don't have a cousin complex. Sheesh. But I'm just wondering if all newlyweds are like this. Is it really happiness to be with your loved ones? I don't know. Maybe the people just suck on my side. Or others have better experiences. But I really wish I could understand that feeling of happiness. It's probably what I'm lacking that makes me feel emo... D:

SAP presentation, was okay, had imba crapping from Bryson and KS. xD Then hockey training where sec 2's laughed at me for being on the same level as them. I don't mind. I skipped training for an entire year because of injury, so technically I should be worse than them. Must work harder.

Nowadays... what. I'm feeling lonely. It's like damn sad whenever I see people posting on their blogs like going out with friends and all that. Maybe it's because of seeing my cousin, maybe I just realized a few things. Of course, I have fantastic friends now, but somehow it feels lacking. Like taking the bus home alone gives me time to think alone. Quietly. Or walking outside the estate at 11. Serenity seems like my best friend and hated thing now. Sigh.

I wonder what am I going to do for the rest of my life?
